Booking & Cancellation Information

Last updated: September 2026  ·  How a request becomes a booking

This page explains, step by step, what happens after you send a request, when anything becomes binding, and whose cancellation rules apply. Nothing on this website charges you.

01

How a booking happens

Four steps, and you can stop at any of them:

  • You send a request. Through a form here, WhatsApp, phone or email. Nothing is booked and nothing is owed.
  • We come back with a proposal. The provider, what is included, the price for your group, and any conditions the provider sets.
  • You confirm. Only at this point does anything become a booking, and only for what you have agreed.
  • We coordinate it with the provider and send you the details in writing.

02

Payment

No payment is taken through this website. There is no checkout and we never ask for card details by email or WhatsApp.

Most services are paid directly to the provider on the day. Where a provider requires a deposit to hold a date, we tell you the amount, who it is paid to and how, before you confirm anything.

03

Whose cancellation conditions apply

The provider carrying out the service sets its own cancellation and change conditions, and those are the ones that apply. We give them to you in writing with the proposal, before you confirm.

If you need to change or cancel something, tell us as early as you can and we will deal with the provider on your behalf. What that costs, if anything, depends on the provider's own conditions and how much notice there is.

04

Weather, safety and things outside anyone's control

Boat trips and some outdoor activities depend on sea state and weather. The decision to sail or to cancel belongs to the skipper or the provider, and it is made on safety grounds.

If a provider cancels for weather or safety, we will look at rescheduling or at the provider returning what you paid, according to that provider's conditions.

05

If something goes wrong

Tell us. Even though the service is the provider's, we are the person you spoke to, and we would rather hear about it than not. We will take it up with the provider and stay involved until it is resolved.

Where the issue concerns the service itself, the provider remains responsible for it, under its own licence and insurance.

06

Questions before you commit

Ask us who the provider is, what is included, what is not, and what happens if you need to change the date. We will answer all of it before you confirm anything.
